So Here's What We've Been Up To..
The Fourth Member
Had a quite fantastic braai with our esteemed colleague and artwork extraordinaire on Saturday. Each of us got a disposable camera or two to gather as much random pictures a possible, and our friend Rouleaux here is turning it into Awesome Stew. Here's a rough idea:

It's A LIE!
"Hahaha! There hasn't been a petrill-station on Aurora for eight yuhrss!" This coming from a local sucking on some kind of a yellow, lime-shaped ice cream that I haven't seen since I was 6..
Sunday (29th) we three, 7 tyres and a photographer braved the inflamed N7 towards Piketberg. Not far from there Mr. Michael Ellis would conduct his latest Kodak masterpiece with us, and as much smoke & flame as 7 tyres would allow. Whilst discussing the pros & cons of our high school heroes Korn teaming up with Skrillex, the petrol gauge sends up it's first flare. At his point we were equal distance from Piketberg and Aurora ( the latter a small 'town' ). Aurora being on the way, we went there.
On the way we pass a lonely "Plaaswinkel 11Km" sign as if it was screaming: "Last chance bitch!". No worries, onward to Aurora! Get there, car is em-fucking-ty. By now the petrol gauge was eyeballing me like an angry girlfriend. No petrol in Aurora for 8 years. True story. Onward to "Plaaswinkel 11Km"! Actually MADE it there! Only to find a dude mowing the lawn. And nothing else.
So Charlie & Redge venture on to Veldrif with 4 or 5 empty bottles whilst Michael & I admire the giant ants on the side of the road. In Veldrif, they refused to fill bottles, so our heroes had to shop around for a tank type thing which they couldn't find anyway. Ended up buying a 5 liter water bottle, and swopping the water for petrol. Oh and still paying for it. Thank you, old, old, lady.
By the time of Redge & Charlies' triumphant return, time was nearing 7 o' clock, and picture time was over. Oh well.
Like Michael said: "Rad little adventure bra."
Keep checking back, we'll have some pics up soon : )

Things! .. And, Stuff!
So January's already in the distance. No over-the-shoulder bye-bye peeks, nothing. Bitch? Nah. She was good to us. Time to move on. Good to be a band again! Had two shows, Rock The River & a rad little slot @ Mercury with Curious Incident & Saintfearless. Fun, fun, fun, till recording took our T-Bird away.
We're finishing all the guitars for the upcoming 'Mothership Destroyer' album in the next 2 weeks. Sweet indeed! Loving what we have so far I tells ya. This Sunday coming we're doing the first official promo shoot for said album with this strapping young lad:
Keep an eye out for this badass! Here's an idea of what we've been up to:
Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas people! Be safe & see you @ Rock The River!
